Out of all the PlayStation 5 accessories announced thus far, the DualSense Charging Station is probably the one that gets the least amount of attention. It’s a convenient item, of course: it provides you with a way to not only display two pads, but it also keeps them powered up so you’re always ready to play.

Honestly, we’re huge fans of the entire PS5 product line. Obviously, you don’t really need everything, but we love how the HD Camera, Media Remote, and Pulse 3D Wireless Headset all come together along with the console to make for such a stylish and consistent family of products. Hats off to Sony’s design team!

@PhhhCough I think it’s more ‘coming together’ like as a cohesive design style rather than being in the box. If they did then that £450 would be a steal!

Would I be right in saying there should be some more substantial info dropping about the console on Friday?
Does the charger stop charging when the controller is fully charged? Or doesn’t it consistently charge?

@get2sammyb Hey Sammy, sorry if I missed this during some of the coverage, but I'm really curious on the wifi performance. Have you guys done some speed tests on this yet? How is Remote Play when wifi (PS5) to wifi (laptop) is used? What about wired to wifi? I know there is a lot of variability due to distance and such but it would be good to know what you guys are getting. Thanks!

Seriously though, I got mine in the mail a few days back and that was the first thing I noticed when I looked at it (I hadn't paid much attention to it prior to that, I suppose because I already knew I wanted it). I thought it was pretty funny/cute/awesome.
Edit: FWIW, this was the one item I ordered from PlayStation Direct.
I would prefer a magnetic guided connection to help line the controller up in the dock.
Don't know how much this will cost, yet I will go for cheaper third party here. So far, charging docks at around $10 from AliExpress have been great, and they're already different PS5 designs that look legit.
