PlayStation doesn't have a singular mascot, but Sackboy can be counted among the many iconic characters on Sony's platform. Introduced via LittleBigPlanet on PS3, the hessian hero has appeared on every PlayStation console since, and that extends to PS5 as well. While Sackboy: A Big Adventure drops the creative aspect associated with the franchise, it seems Sumo Digital has put a lot of effort into realising the titular character in far more detail on the next-gen system.

As is evident in the new story trailer for the PS5 launch title, Sackboy himself looks far more realistic — you can see all the fuzz on the edges of his stitched together scalp. It's an impressive upgrade.
