Game Informer has all the latest Marvel's Spider-Man: Miles Morales details as part of its October cover reveal, but there's nothing better than seeing the PlayStation 5 game in action for yourself. Here we have footage from the next-gen title's very first boss battle, featuring both Miles Morales himself and Peter Parker — each donning the Spidey suit. Rhino is their opponent, so we'll let the 83 seconds of gameplay do most of the talking.
The cutscene which precedes the fight looks particularly impressive as Insomniac Games begins to put the PS5 through its paces. Meanwhile, gameplay looks to be largely similar to Marvel's Spider-Man, but Miles will come with his own set of powers and abilities. Do you like what you see? Web-sling into the comments below.

Feel's like I'm wearing nothing at all... nothing at all...
I'll play it, but it looks pretty samey and not at all next gen to me.
It does look cool but I hate tech Rhino, I always have in adaptations. I like the weird classic skin tight suit that resembles rhino skin.
This game looks incredible.amazing boss fight.word up son
This looks like a lot of fun. Getting more and more excited now.
Well, at least the flood gates are finally opening up on game details.
Guess 4 weeks until release was the sweet spot for information.
I wouldn't say "epic". It looks like yet another big standard Spider-Man fight. Not a bad thing, but nothing really special or unique.
So this is spider man 2 right?!
Surprised they are using the colors of the quicktime buttons, considering there is no color anymore with the new PS5 controller. I liked the white button presses of games such as Last Of Us Part2.
Looks good anyway.
looks very great !
It looks like a PS4 game which is fine as that's where I'm playing it and I had zero complains with the original.
Is it just me or does Peter sound different?
I'm getting very excited for this. I was going to get it around launch, but I just know I'll be sucked into Destiny Beyond Light. This is first on the list of next games to buy.
I also really want to know if Peter's face is changed for the ps4 version. I certainly hope so.
Man this looks good 😃
I hope there's 1080p with RT and 60 fps, I don't care too much about resolutions, all I want is good graphics with RT and 60 fps.
Am I crazy, or does this visually look pretty bad?
@wiiware so far only Dynamic 4K/60 w no RT but instead Screen Space Reflections and 4K/30 w RT have been announced as modes.
@Pleasance it actually looks amazing with ray tracing and, well depends on what screen you watched it on because on LG CX it looks sharp and beautiful.
Andrew Reiner who played this for game informer was on twitter answering questions about his time with the game. He gave a very good idea what people can expect and it all seems very, very positive.
He also says he has footage of both the dynamic 4k/60 mode and 4k/30 with ray tracing mode that hes gonna put up.
I like the way miles slides down the wall at the start look he's still getting used to his abilities.
@DonJorginho If RT and screen space reflection (whatever that is, lol) give me the same result, I guess I'll go with 60 fps mode
Thanks for the spoiler in the sub title of the article, I didn't know that character is in this game.
@Pleasance you are crazy
I decided not to watch. I'm at the point where I know I'm getting the game so would rather see it all fresh when I play. Don't mind reading about it though and we now know Peter is still around in the game. I'm guessing something is going to happen further in to the game to leave Miles to deal with stuff on his own.
@JohnnyShoulder I know what you mean, but he's also been revealed in the latest batch of official screenshots so probably it would have been spoiled either way. He's likely just the opening/tutorial boss so I wouldn't worry too much. But yeah, spoiler tags are always welcome regardless.
@SegaBlueSky I've not seen any of those or the trailer. I try to avoid most promo stuff these days as they just end up revealing most of the game. Then you are left with hardly any surprises when playing the game.
That was a very good example of what's to come. I managed to get a pre-order and I'm really looking forward to next gen!!
