More PS5 Launch Games Will Arrive a Week Before the UK Console Release

Yeah I got an email yesterday about getting my games early, so I get to stare at Spider-Man and Demon Souls for a week before playing them

Am I being cynical in thinking that some publishers would rather their games be on sale before the US review embargo lifts?
I’m thinking DAS in particular.

I just want to know when R&C and GT7 are out.

I wish they still had proper manuals. Used to love reading them before i booted the game up lol

I preordered, AC valhalla, spiderman ultimate edition, watchdogs legion (paid for those 3 already), godfall, cod on preorder to. Thinking about sackboy im not sure. Wouldn't mind to get need for speed to but may rent to save money there.

Game have Demon's Souls listed for 12th November as well.

Just over a month to go, and we’ve seen trailers but not that much in gameplay- especially for Destruction Allstars. I would think you would need a little more to go on before you dropped £70 day one.

Im gonna pick up miles on ps4 so my kids can play it while i get the upgrade to ps5 for myself. The question is do i make them wait a week 🤔

No, because...

(a) At the present time, it seems I won't be getting a system for launch day, as I pre-ordered with ShopTo.

(b) I'm not that bothered by (a) because, for the first time since PS2, there are no launch titles I feel I absolutely must have.

I've said before that I'd have been happy if 'next gen' hadn't happened for another year or two, and so far nothing has happened to change that.

I'll get my PS5 whenever the pre-order materialises, but for now I'm perfectly happy with PS4 and my PC.

Next-gen for me so far is stacking up to be a bit of a let-down.

But Miles Morales isn't PS5 exclusive.

I have my Playstation 5 on pre order but I am only using my ps5 to play my ps4 backlog until those game prices drop down in price. This hobby is already expensive enough as it is , and on top of a recession I refuse to pay 70-80 euros for games.

I see the point but remember some of them also on ps4 so if dont have patients to wait a week could always buy ps4 version get ps5 Version free anyway

I don't think I'll get anything for launch day other than Astro Bot.

Dont about PushSquare info but my pre ordered Demons Souls from Amazon.uk is coming on 12 th too

I'm wondering if you guys will get a PS5 before the official UK launch. I hope so and keep us sweating for a week.

Just a reminder that this also means we have to keep avoiding spoilers for a week from gamers in the USA who are already playing those games.
And then there are some PS5 titles that might even release earlier on their PS4 counterpart.
Going to be hard to keep up-to-date with PS5 news while trying to avoid spoilers.

It says (More) games. Didn’t see anything else that’s hasn’t already been announced.

Already pre ordered the digital version of Valhalla on PS4, which will automatically upgrade to the PS5 version. So I have that day one game ready to go.
