Yeah, you can announce this thing now EA. Mass Effect Legendary Edition has just received an official age rating over in Korea, very strongly indicating that this remastered collection is absolutely a thing. If you remember the latest rumour from a couple of weeks ago, this is the same name that Venture Beat's Jeff Grubb hinted at, who also said the release would now arrive in early 2021.
At the time, he stated that the first Mass Effect game was giving the publisher some trouble as it wants to do the collection justice for its fans. Mass Effect 3 will not feature its multiplayer component, but all titles will come packaged with their DLC. This age rating only cements the claims further. At this point, we also have to imagine there's a native PlayStation 5 version also in development.

@nessisonett Didn't they say that the Mass Effect remasters were happening but were pushed to next year because the original Mass Effect did not match the quality of the remasters of Mass Effect 2 and 3? I don't think we need an official announcement until they are able to drop a trailer that shows the actual quality of the game and when it will be released.
N7 day is just a few weeks away, expect an announcement then is my guess

Seriously, though, I would prefer to get full confirmation that this is indeed real and not a continuing isolation triggered fever dream of mine.
As for release date? Take your time; I'd prefer to play it on PS5 and thanks to Sony thinking 20k units are more than enough for the entire Scandinavian region I won't be getting my pre-ordered console until some time in May/June (current estimate)

Would love to play 1 and 2 again. 3 didn’t sit right with me, and I don’t just mean the ending. The writing is large chunks (other than the fantastic Tuchanka sections and the Geth bits, which as I understand were written by different people) felt very cheesy to me
