Devil May Cry 5 Special Edition Vergil PS5 PlayStation 5

Alongside the announcement of Devil May Cry 5: Special Edition, Capcom revealed that Vergil will be joining the fray. The souped-up PlayStation 5 version will include the extra character, as well as a raft of performance options, when it launches alongside the console in November. Dante's brother is also coming to the PS4 version of the game as paid DLC, but Capcom held back on a date or price. In a new press release, the publisher has now provided these details.

If you own DMC5 on PS4, you can look forward to the Vergil DLC when it releases on 15th December 2020, a month or so later than the launch of PS5's Special Edition. And it doesn't break the bank, either, coming in at $4.99 / €4.99 / £3.99.

Vergil will become a fully playable character in the game alongside Nero, Dante, and V; you'll be able to play him in story missions, the Void, and Bloody Palace.
