Last week saw the release of both Marvel's Avengers and Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 1 + 2, and predictably, both ended up atop the UK's physical charts. It's hardly a surprise that this latest chart sees them maintain their respective positions in first and second. The skateboarding remake might be pretending to be a superman, but it can't quite topple actual superheroes, it seems.
Elsewhere, Kingdoms of Amalur: Re-Reckoning debuts in number four despite its issues, and a physical release of Minecraft Dungeons slashes its way into sixth. Ghost of Tsushima falls out of the top 10 and into number 12, just above The Last of Us: Part II in 13th.
Here's the latest top 10 in full.
UK Sales Charts: Week Ending 12th September 2020
- Marvel's Avengers
- Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 1 + 2
- Animal Crossing: New Horizons
- Kingdoms of Amalur: Re-Reckoning
- Mario Kart 8 Deluxe
- Minecraft Dungeons
- Minecraft (Switch)
- NBA 2K21
- Grand Theft Auto V
- Ring Fit Adventure

I enjoyed the Avengers campaign and the online isn't too bad but it is a really poor idea to not have loot/gear change the appearance of characters whilst the combat is decent it all just feels a bit like number pumping!
Well what would you prefer, yellow spandex?
(That can be arranged.....for a price!)
Well, nice to see Kingdoms of Amalur taking a p high seat there
I have been playing with a few pals the last new nights not perfect but a lot of fun. I can't wait till the first raid gets added. The campaign is awesome.
For those Avenging and working on leveling up a faction, you can disconnect your internet and manually change the date to reset the faction clocks, crank out more points in a day and get more Polychoron for the major artifact.
KOA making the list makes me happy.
@Mostik I imagine in the next 6 months when they lose 90% of their current base there will be some good changes
@Salohcin No doubt you are right mate and as we saw with Anthem 6 months is 6 months to late for game such as this. By that time we will hopefully by playing PS5 games
What an injustice that Tony Hawk is losing to a vastly inferior game 🤷 although we can chuck some of it to skateboarding being more niche.
Can I ask, who the hell is still buying GTA V?
@Mostik Considering there have been many games that improved like this and that this game has potential, yeah I think in six months this will be a much different game.
