At the start of this month, before we even knew the PlayStation 5 price and release date, a bunch of box art for upcoming exclusives hit the web that claimed not to be the final piece. It included the likes of Demon's Souls, Sackboy: A Big Adventure, Destruction AllStars, Returnal, and Gran Turismo 7. And now that the PS5 launch day has been confirmed, it turns out the physical box art for those first three titles were actually the final versions. They're all available for pre-order on Amazon right now and sport the box art you'll be able to add to your bookcases come mid-November.
Since they're not launch titles, we can't say whether or not the art that was attached to Returnal and Gran Turismo 7 was final, but they still give a clear indication of what the developers are going for. Let us know which one out of this lot is your favourite in the comments below.

Was there any doubt that they were the finalized box arts? The Demon's Souls one especially screamed "you will see this at retail" to me.
Love the way the guy on the Demon's Souls cover has kited every enemy in the level back to the start, including even the dragon. That's some hardcore Souls action right there.

Yuck. I was hoping that Demon's Souls one wasn't the real thing, but ugh.... It should've been something much more minimalist. Just have the title on the front in white with a black background. That's it. Make it like the old Resident Evil Remake European cover art.
The Sackboy and Destruction AllStars ones are good though.
Yeah, maybe I'll grow to like them eventually, but I currently don't like the new box-art style with the PS5 banner. The PS4 banner just speaks to me.
Not a huge fan of the Demon's souls one - it's far too busy for my liking. Ah well, the game inside is what matters at the end of the day!
That white banner looks ugly they need to go back to blue or better yet black
Almost as garish as the console itself. Ah well, again, it's what on the inside that counts.
That white border is so ugly. But it could cool great on special editions, though
I still don't like that Demon's Souls box art. Oh well, it won't be seen anyways since all my games are in a media shelf in my entertainment center that has a door.

demon's souls box art is YIKES. i think most of us were hoping for something better and more atmospheric. that is box art 101 right there and must have been hastily thrown together with little regard for the tone of the game. i think what makes it look so bad is the poorly rendered enemies which elevates the cheese factor to house of the dead levels. if they simply removed the enemies, it would be a homage to symphony of the night and that would be good enough.

Demon's Souls box art is pretty disappointing. The original's was unique and iconic looking. When I see this it just looks like a standard action game

Well the Destruction All-Stars cover is hideous whatever the banner. But yeah, not a fan of that plain white banner.
For Demon’s Souls, they should’ve just had the title on a completely black background. This one is far too 90’s for me.

I like the artcover for DSR, it pretty much show you the insurmountable odds you will faced throughout the game. Excited for it.
I wish they put more playstation aesthetics art on that white bar on top, or at least use gradient color or something.
