Ubisoft has returned with another Forward showcase, this time around focusing on its line-up of titles we don't know so much about. Watch Dogs Legion and Hyper Scape both played a large part, despite being fairly known quantities at this point, but we also got a good look at Immortals Fenyx Rising. That's the new name for Gods & Monsters. The Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time Remake was also confirmed to be real following a leak earlier today, while Riders Republic was another new announcement.
That's all that Ubisoft had its sleeve for the latest Forward event, but were you left impressed by the show? Was it better than the French publisher's digital showcase from back in July? Place your vote in our poll and share your full thoughts in the comments below.

That's it? NO SMASH!?
I voted very good but I want it to be known that my opinion of the show is entirely carried by Prince of Persia and Scott Pilgrim. Those are things I've been asking for for so very long, and to get BOTH of them in the same event was just... really a dream come true.
Love how they put Sam Fisher in everything except his own game.
In all seriousness,
Gods and Monsters (I refuse to say the official name) looks pretty good
Prince of Persia looks fun and like an early PS3 game
Scott Pilgrim was the best part
Watch Dogs Legion looks interesting
A little too much Hyper Space and way too much Rainbow Six
I already forgot the name of the bike game
And Rayman doesn't exist according to Ubisoft
I said it was good because this had 4 exciting games, But it had too much Rainbow Six and Ubisoft refuses to notice Rayman anymore.
I'm absolutely thrilled for Scott Pilgrim's return. It was one of the few titles worth keeping my PS3 around for. But not sure about most of these others. Somehow they made the character models in Sands of Time even uglier than the OG.
Scott pilgrim! Gods and monsters(immortals)! Steep 2(riders)!
I see this as an absolute win!
You never fail to fail to deliver, Ubisoft.
Better than the last one but still a bit rubbish, Assassin's of The Wild 2 looks alright and I'm happy to see PS3 finally get a new game with Prince of Persia
Was there any rated Everyone / Everyone 10+ game for at least 1 title ?
It was okay, a bit crap but really good.
Gods and Monsters was ok (models, animation need work... looks like Mobile Art 2.0), Amazon has Pre-orders for $49. So a maybe.
Everything else, easy pass.
Just watched the post show gameplay of immortals fenyx rising, I'm sold on it, day one for me.
I feel like this kind of stuff would be better saved for part of a bigger show. Maybe i just need to get out of the E3 mindset and on board with the more frequent but smaller announcement type of thing.
Scott Pilgrim coming back was probably one of the single best gaming announcements this year so far, tied with Spider-Man Miles Morales, RE8, the SMT blowout at the Direct Mini in July, and the Fable reboot.
@Anti-Matter scott pilgrim, riders, immortals, hyper space where all PEGI 12+/ESRB 10+. Only 2 games where 18+.
@Anti-Matter Gods and Monsters looks E-Rated, Scott Pilgrim might be E-Rated (Edit: The Original Release of Scott Pilgrim is actually rated T, but there doesn't seem to be much inappropriate besides some smooching and non-gory fighting and rude gestures [middle finger]), and the best E-Rated Franchise from Ubisoft (Rayman) doesn't even exist, so like maybe 2 games. Oh and the Riders Republic Game, is probably E, but I don't know if you care about that.
Best part was Immortal Fenyx Rising, reminds me a lot of BOTW and that's one of my favourite games this gen so I'm sure I'll enjoy it.
Prince of Persia remake somehow looks in some ways worse than than the OG, facial animations and general texture work look very off, major PS3 vibes.
Worst part was the time spent on Rainbow Six Siege and Hyperscape, way too much time spent on them.
Wish we got Far Cry 6 gameplay or an update on BG&E2, but it wasn't terrible.
5.5/10
Wish there was a Meh option between okay and poor.
Not one game interested me. Also, where was far cry 6? That’s the only Ubisoft franchise I purchase.
Poor showing.
Immortals looks good, PoP looks... ok but nowhere near what I'd expect of a full remake, and Watch Dogs was the usual stuff we've seen already (apart from the Stormzy stuff of course). Having said that, Ubi will never satisfy me until they start to give Sam Fisher the respect he deserves instead of pimping him out to all of their other IPs.
once i heard the art style had changed, i wasn't really interested in gods and monsters (new name sucks). the only game i really wanted to see was farcry 6 and it wasn't there.
@Gatatog - it has always amazed me that sam fisher and gabe logan, 2 of gaming best spies, haven't had their own game in such a long time.
Immortals Fenyx Rising looks really good but I’ll wait for reviews, day one for Scott Pilgrim and I don’t care about the rest
I think meh is an accurate way to describe both of them. Ubisoft continues to be the blandest publisher in existence.
@kyleforrester87 Lets agree to disagree on that.
@Flaming_Kaiser no!
Ubisoft come across as trying to be so cool & edgy its just embarrassing.
Scott Pilgrim is great, the rest just crap in my opinion.
Just imagine how bad it would have been if they had to show things at the beginning of June.
Ubisoft has fallen off a cliff, if you ask me. NOTHING they are putting out screams "must play" to me.
Is there no Just Dance this year?
I don't want it but I thought Ubisoft was required by law to spend 5 minutes of every show on Just Dance?
@HotGoomba I agree on everything except Rainbow six. It makes sense why they would promote the crap out of their most profitable game.
Ubisoft makin' it too easy to boycott them with these missable titles, lol.
It was OK, it all looked very Ubisoft. How is it that games as diverse as ‘Gods & Monsters’ and the new ‘Steep’ with bikes and stuff (forgot it’s name) can still feel like they’ve been built from the same Ubi cookie cutter template? UI Diversity needed.
@themightyant It's a new genre on its own, and I hereby name it Ubisame.
I am going to keep banging the drum but the clear lack of diversity in Ubisoft's portfolio was down to the fact that a handful of people were calling the creative shots and shooting down anything they didn't like. Oh and those same people were horrific people who have been forced out once the allegations were made public.
Scott Pilgrim is a cheap and very easy attempt to appeal to gamers and make them excited for their very limited portfolio. Same with Prince of Persia. It is going to be several years, if at all, before Ubisoft can get themselves out of this creative (and moral) slump.
@kyleforrester87 Still think so Ghost Recon 2, The Division, Watchdogs, Assassins Creed what the french one, Farcry 4 wasnt that great either.
@Rudy_Manchego Yeah there where some shocking things going on and it was tolerated.
@Rubssi Never said that I didn't get why lol
No one's mentioned Beyond Good and Evil 2.
That was the primary game I watched the stream for.
Has that ship sunk in the dock?
I thought it was very awesome, despite what everyone else thinks!
Looking forward to Prince of Persia Remake, Immortals: Fenyx Rising, Scott Pilgrim vs the World, and Watch Dogs: Legion!
