There were rumblings that it would happen, and it's happened — Scott Pilgrim vs. The World: The Game is back.
The 2D beat-'em-up was delisted from digital storefronts when the licensing deal ran dry, and many fans have been hoping and praying to see it return. Ubisoft has announced the title will indeed be made available once again, in celebration of the game's 10th anniversary. It'll be coming to PlayStation 4 this holiday, and will include the two character add-ons to make it the definitive version.

YEEEEEEEEES IM SO HAPPY AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA
YOOOOOO NOW THIS IS PODRACING
would have been nice if it were available for those who had it originally on PS3
Why do people love this game so much?
@LiamCroft Artwork, music (Anamanaguchi!), and enjoyable subject matter for me. Read through the books in highschool when this released. Became my favorite beat'em up with progression akin to River City.
Its hard as nails. Hope i can get further on it this time! Best reveal of the night
@LiamCroft This and Double Dragon Neon were great beat-em-ups in a time when they’d been somewhat extinct. I also binged the books when I was about 10 and this came out just afterwards. It has a great soundtrack and art style. Just one of those games that has it all really.
@Rob_230 I struggled so hard on my first playthrough and found out on one of the final levels food permanently increased stats 😵 I thought it was tied to leveling up!
2 characters is that it? not worth even mentioning really 😪😪
@Rob_230 it was a hard game, I think I gave up after 1 level and never touched it again lol
Just not for me so I'll pass this time 🤣
Physical or this means nothing.
Soundtrack. Belters.
Dang, hard to believe it’s been 10 years. But I’m getting this again.
@LiamCroft it was just a fun game, especially if you like beat em ups.
Only kind of excited. I don't know who thought a Beat 'Em Up needed Grinding, but...it doesn't. If the game is still running nose first into a brick wall into you hit Level 8, I'll just sit back and be happy for those that wanted this.
@nessisonett @Broosh Fair play, the latest movie was the first time I'd ever heard of Scott Pilgrim so I didn't know there was stuff before that.
If it’s $15 or less, I’ll buy it right away. I spent many an hour with this game on PS3!
@EVIL-C Same here
Really happy to see this game come back to life. Now I don't have to start my PS3 to play it.
So happy about this, love Scott Pilgrim, the graphic novel, movie and this is one of my favourite beat-em-ups of all time! Fingers crossed for a physical release!!
@Rob_230 Yep, isn't it just! Like a last gen version of River City Girls but harder!
Given WayForward (on twitter anyways), seem determined to give multiple sales of RCG on every other format & ignore ps4 owners existence, hoping this is more reasonably priced.
Good thing Scott Pilgrim has those chip tunes to encourage a replay, those boss characters are a nightmare!
Quite frankly best side scrolling best em up I've ever played.
Can’t wait. I own this game but it’s lost somewhere on my old ps3 account.
I remember enjoying the movie and using the "Best Buy" trick to still buy PS3 digital game code after it was officially delisted, though I never got around to playing it unfortunately.
Here's hoping we get a physical version this time around, even if it is a limited run!
Oh man. Can't wait.
I had it on 360 but will be happy to do it all again.
