Good news, everyone: you can finally pre-order your PlayStation 5 this week. Bad news, everyone: not really. Truly Exquisite (an item personalisation company that targets the super rich), will begin taking pre-orders for its previously reported PS5 collection on the 10th September.
Console pre-orders start at an eye-watering £7,999. That meagre amount gets you a 24-karat PS5 digital edition. Bargain! You can also cough up for a golden DualSense controller at £649, and a golden PS5 headset at £399.
The pre-order page reads: "These pieces will be limited edition with only 250 pieces made per model/finish. The price includes 1 x PS5 Console, 2 x DualSense Controllers, 1 x 3D Pulse Headset. The PlayStation 5 will be presented in a Luxury wooden display box with free worldwide shipping & insurance."
Of course, we now have confirmation that the PS5 itself will cost less than £8,000. Nice!

Looks Nice .. I will buy 4 !
Free shipping? That's a steal!
No mention about the digital edition? I wanted that one
Pffffft gold? That's so last year. Hit me up when they're offering platinum PS5's.
There is also a £100 difference in the prices of the digital and disc version...
time to start saving up!
Even if I had the money, I wouldn't buy this. Unless it comes with insurance, because I know it'll get stolen.
I can live with one testicle right? Brb gonna sell the smallest one and a kidney and I should be able to buy this.
Almost had a coronary then, I read the headline too quick and thought this was proper PS5 pre-orders opening at £799.
Thinking about it I'd still buy one immediately.
Whew, so glad there's free shipping, that was my main concern!
Time to buy one and revive the old "Is it a good idea to microwave this?" YouTube series.
Imagine you buy this and the controller has a drift. For this price, I hope they come in person to replace it.
7k digital edition?
PS5: Gold Tooth Edition
Are we still doing those buy a console and smash it Youtube videos?
It looks awful
Do you guys think Sony would let them do this if the regular pre-orders weren’t opening up as well? I feel like an old man because part of me is actually wondering if this is even real or just some stupid thing I’m too old to find the irony and/or humor in? Please push square yungin’s, enlighten me with your fountainy youthfulness
8k for a 4k system with the most popular game by 2k. OK.
£7999? I will have 3 :-/
Something for the Arabs to buy with there oil money
for that price I can buy regular ps5's and open a store.
I’ll take 2 please, one for play and one for collection 😂
@FrankieTeardrop probably real. Some oil sheik will probably get this to boast to his 'friends' and then never lay a finger on it
Is it 1st April!? Cos 2020 has been a weird year.
will all that gold have any impact on the haptic feedback?
Yes finally, for only £7,999, WHAT A STEAL!
Do they accept THPS1+2 dollars? I've got about 12,000 of those and nothing left to buy apart from some incredibly garish socks.
@redd214 the least I'd expect is for armed guards bringing it directly to my door 😆 and a fanfare down the street.
Ridiculous, should be at least half the price.
Makes the regular white one look good.
I'll have 10 of them + probably the basic PS5 will cost that anyway Because that is the only reason I can think of that we haven't had the price of it(i am getting worried now that SONY will mess it all up. But surely they couldn't of forgotten how bad the PS3 went when they announced the price of that. Even I thought I'll wait a few years until the price dropped and I have PlayStation in my BLOOD)
Only if it comes with that special $100 PSN avatar thrown in for free.
@SaikoWaifu2003 Hahaha yep, somebody wanted that vibe while making it still look like the Latin alphabet. Alphabets are weird.
This could be sold with one red controller and be called the C3PO Edition.
You need need to be tapped int be head to pay that. I’m gonna get mine in January when it’s out £500 max
"super rich"
You mis-spelled "immensely stupid".
