Square Enix has confirmed that Babylon's Fall will appear in some capacity during Tokyo Game Show 2020 Online, which takes place later this month. The Platinum-developed action title is part of the publisher's announced games lineup, although it's unclear how big of a role it will play in proceedings.
It's about time that we saw much more of Babylon's Fall. The project was first revealed at Square Enix's E3 2018 showcase, and we've seen very little of it ever since. Its last appearance was during a State of Play broadcast in December 2019, where it got a short but intriguing gameplay trailer.

Forgot about this game! Looks like GodFall (or GodFall looks like this).
I hope it's a single player type game and not another online games as a service multiplayer blah blah blah.
Especially since Square Enix already has Marvel's Avenger's in that space.
Babylon's Fall looks like a mix of Devil May Cry, Bayonetta and Souls. That initial gameplay trailer impressed the hell out of me. Really excited to see what else they have in store for that game. Odds are they might even announce a PS5 version if it's taking them this long.
This reminded me of Deep Down, except that it exists.
This was announced in June 2018. Hopefully, two years after announcement, there's something a bit more concrete.
Good to hear, it looks awesome.
This is great news. Love Platinum, can't wait for more info on this one.
I've been wondering about this game. I honestly thought it was canned after platinum decided to make their own games without relying on publishers.
I don't know... The reveal gameplay trailer looked a bit generic, like the vibe of Scalebound and Godfall, trying too hard to be mainstream. Now that I mention it, Scalebound was also Platinum. Something about Platinum lacks really compelling art / character design.
I had forgotten about this game for a short while, definitely looking forward to hearing more info!
