Devil May Cry 5 Special Edition PS5 Box Art Is Pure Smokin' Sexy Style

This box art is really good, but I prefer the first box art a little, and the banner puts a bad taste in my mouth, and not everybody can appreciate this, but this is still beautiful art.

I could do without the big banner up at the top. I like box arts clean.

I just managed to get a PS5 pre order in by some miracle. Time to add this one to the list.

Finally got around to playing this game, and just not that impressed. The combat feels sluggish, and the environments are b-o-r-i-n-g. I used to love this series in high school...

Besides the ugly banner, that's one bit of classy box art.

I will most likely pick this up. I haven't played it yet on ps4 so might as well wait for it to release on ps5.

Nice, although I will never get to see it up close as I will start purchasing digital games with the fiver on a more frequent basis. Digital future here I come.

For anyone curious Walmart has some PS5 pre orders available. I just got mine. Also target has been randomly adding some here and there so check there every so often

How come Sony hasn't censored it if it is sexy?

Get rid of that banner at the top and you'd have an utterly fantastic box art.

Annoying it's not going to be a free upgrade for owners of the PS4 version. Or even with a $10 dlc upgrade path

The banner at the top is awful, but the art itself is beautiful. Wish the original had something like this.

Will this version have everything unlocked or will it still have all this orb microtransactions nonsense? I didn't buy the game the first time round mainly cause of the stupid currency stuff and it would probably be the deciding factor here too.

@HotGoomba I know right it makes it look cheap. We all know its a good game why make it look cheap. The same goes for bluray movies 4 star rating by some these obscure sites.

Nah, original boxart looked better. Haven't played it yet though so definitely interested in picking up the PS5 version eventually.

Really enjoyed this first time around but having finished it already I will only go back if it's price point is around £30 as hopefully I will have enough new games to play.

Does anyone else think the white banner at the top of the PS5 games is deliberately hideous so as to force people who like cohesive graphic design to buy games digitally?

@Old-Red - There is no need whatsoever to buy orbs as just playing the game will give far more than you'll ever need. The game economy isn't gimped in any way to encourage buying them.

I honestly have no idea why they even sell them beside parting absolute morons from their money. They added them in DMC4 SE as well but actually increased the amount you earn compared to vanilla DMC4. They're just there for the sake of being there I guess.

I prefer the old art, it was less busy and more elegant.

I'm sorry but this doesn't look good. I mean, the artwork is really nice, but it seems so lazily thrown together. A cool idea would've been to do the same as the deluxe edition but have vergil in the center with a smug look on his face. Like a "I'm back b****s" look, while Dante and nero are on the sides staring angrily at him
