Following a bit of a mixed reception to the Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War alpha test, the next step in Treyarch's marketing cycle will be to reveal the Zombies mode. It'll take place this coming Wednesday at 10am PT / 6pm BST on the official Call of Duty YouTube channel, assumedly in the form of a trailer along with a bit of gameplay. That's all we really have to go on right now so be sure to check back with us on the day for all the latest coverage.
Don't forget that you'll need to buy the specific cross-gen bundle if you want a free PlayStation 5 upgrade of Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War. Do you enjoy the Zombies modes in Call of Duty titles? Let us know in the comments below.

Call of Duty:Black Ops:Cold War:Call Of Duty Cross-Gen Edition-Season Pass included
Never spent any real time with zombies, but now that crossplay is a standard thing, I can finally consistently play with friends on other platforms!
I thought we would get a full trailer on Monday (today). This trailer for a trailer bullshiz needs to stop.
@HotGoomba Nice
Why is Call of Duty still a thing? I really don't understand modern children.
I'm still waiting on the day they make a standalone zombies including al old maps and game modes.
Im not a big CoD fan, but i must admit playing zombies with my wife and kids is a blast. Especially blops 2...i think. Was that the one with the theater map and the map called 5?
@710King I would say because millions of people play it and love it. Maybe your time would be better spent reading about games you do enjoy, instead of wasting it commenting on on a game you clearly don’t.
Not into the Zombie mode myself. I never play the campaigns either.
I just like to jump straight online.
@710King
Silky slick shooting mechanics, IMO.
But yeah the franchise isn’t as great as it once was.
They’ll never top Black Ops 2, IMO. That was the best multiplayer shooter of its generation and it’s a travesty that it hasn’t had a remake.
@TheRedComet They've never topped Big Red One which came out 15 years ago. Call of Duty 4 came close but everything since has been derivative.
@710King
Campaign wise, I fully agree to an extent. I think World at War had the best campaign but Big Red One was right behind it. That was the last game I bought for my original Xbox.
From a multiplayer standpoint, I rank it as Black Ops 2, then MW2, then BO, and WAW and MW are tied.
@TheRedComet I stopped with the multiplayer after MW2, I honestly don't even know what it's like these days. I'm more fond of the Battlefield series for shooters but even that is getting tiresome for me.
@710King
I loved BO2 because it was the last game in the series I played that had real kill streaks (if anything they were a little overpowered, especially the EMP blast, but considering how much work you put into getting them it balances out ok. It also had great sidearms and shotguns were balanced perfectly, IMO. They weren’t absolutely broken like MW, WAW, and MW2’s shotguns, but they weren’t the neutered mess the series has had since that time period.
I agree with you that Battlefield is the better game. I sunk far more hours into Battlefield 1 and Battlefield 5 than I did into any COD game. Battlefield 1 is my favorite multiplayer shooter of all time.
Domination mode with 24 players. I know Battlefield is all about Conquest but there was just something so rewarding about Domination on BF1.
