That's probably not the jolliest headline you've ever read on Push Square, but then The Suicide of Rachel Foster is dealing with a pretty serious subject. This first-person, narrative thriller comes to PlayStation 4 next week on 26th August 2020, promising an intense "investigation, where melancholy and nostalgia meld into a thrilling ghost tale." Check out the trailer above for more context.

The game has you play as Nicole, who after becoming snowed in inside an abandoned hotel, must unravel the truth behind her family's dark past. The setting at least sounds a lot like The Shining, doesn't it? The game will be priced at £15.99 on PS4 after releasing to fairly positive reviews on PC earlier this year. A rating of 63 on Metacritic indicates it could be something worth checking out if you're a fan of the genre. A press release makes note of binaural audio, mature storytelling, and elements of both mystery and horror.
