If the post-launch additions of Hawkeye and Spider-Man aren't quite doing it for you, Marvel's Avengers will reveal a third superhero coming to the game after release as part of Square Enix's next War Table livestream. It'll take place on Tuesday 1st September at 10am PT / 1pm ET / 6pm BST as players begin their journey putting the Avengers team back together through the Deluxe Edition's early access phase.
Square Enix mentions that attention will be paid to the progression system, hints and tips for taking down bad guys, and details surrounding end-game content. The reveal of a third superhero will be the main attraction, however, alongside a general overview of the first batch of story content arriving after launch. That will most likely focus on Hawkeye. With all the terrigen stuff in the story I'm kinda hoping for Black Bolt to be one of the DLC heroes. I just hope it's someone slightly unexpected because so far all but Ms. Marvel are pretty much standard fare.
Damnit Crystal, you have the potential to make it into another game like Spiderman PS4 and yet you decide to go the live service route. I feel that the more they show the game the more I hate it.
If they started adding some x-men to it down the line I might reconsider this game, but right now it's a pass for me.

@nessisonett I don't think he has been confirmed playable yet, is that correct? If he has, then that is a goof on my behalf as I must of slept. I remember him being in a trailer but not playable yet. It would make sense since he is already there.

Nothing about this game makes me excited, I mean they’re trying their hardest by announcing post launch characters and stuff but the games so dull.
@Medic_Alert After playing the beta, I have no doubt it'll be down to $40 on Black Friday. I may cave then, depending on what the actual balance of content looks like and what else I have on my plate at that point.

They should've titled it Marvel Warriors or something like that. It doesn't feel at all like an Ultimate Alliance game to me
