Crikey, Activision’s really going above and beyond with Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time, eh? The game simply looks incredible, and it’s huge to boot. But even if you do manage to see the title through to completion, developer Toys for Bob has teamed up with Beenox to give you a reason to replay, courtesy of N. Verted Mode.
Effectively, this is Mirror Mode on steroids. Instead of just flipping the stages, this transports you to a whole different dimension, putting a unique spin on every single one of the title’s levels. “When playing in a dimension on N. Verted mode, that dimension may involve splattering paint to see your path forward, or keeping up with an old timey film reel that cranks up gameplay speed just as fast as it puts the picture on the screen,” Activision’s James Mattone explained on the PlayStation Blog.

This is one of the coolest modes I’ve seen in a game to date. Really made me decide that Crash 4 was in fact a game I will get at some point.
I wasn't thrilled when I learned who the developer was, but I'm feeling better about this game over time.
Really good to see a proper platforming icon return this gen (sorry not sorry Bubsy )
Time trials are a Crash classic, but I'm glad they're evolving the formula and trying new things. This sounds like a ton of fun.
Very innovative, just like the original was. Was already pretty excited for this, after today...even more so!
This sounds like a really cool way to spice up levels. Can't wait to check it out!
A great idea that more games should utilise.
It looks great but let’s face it, most of the ideas are “inspired” by Nintendo platformers...
Fantastic idea, was really impressed by this. I was already interested in Crash but this has made it a must-buy in my books, it looks great and would definitely make me more likely to replay the game.
