Before Jonathon Blow created The Witness, there was Braid. This classic 2D puzzler lives long in the memory of many a folk, and much to their delight, it's coming back next year in the form of Braid: Anniversary Edition. The reveal during Sony's State of Play livestream dated this re-release for early 2021, sporting enhanced visuals and that classic time-travelling mechanic. Get a sneak peek at it in action in the announcement trailer above.

Besides what is being described as a very detailed developer commentary, there doesn't seem to be too many other talking points to this remaster -- this is the Braid we've all known and loved back and better than ever on PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4. Will you be checking it out next year? Wrap time around your finger in the comments below.

I thought it was alright, not my favourite game but it didn’t Blow.
Jonathan Blow was designing a programming language at one point. I found this out listening to a lecture thinking it would give me hints for the witness. I was left emotionally drained about 15 minutes in as he has an Infinitely superior brain and uses words I didn't know existed.
Here's hoping for a new trphy list, including a Plat.
