Pixel art is a bit of a touchy subject for this particular scribe -- it can pretty much make or break the experience. And thankfully, A Space for the Unbound very much falls on the positive side of this internal debate. The stunning indie title from both Toge Productions and Mojiken Studio is coming to PlayStation 4 at some point next year, and while the announcement trailer above gives little away, a Steam page serves up a lot more information.

It reads: "A Space For The Unbound is a slice-of-life adventure game with beautiful pixel art set in the late 90s rural Indonesia that tells a story about overcoming anxiety, depression, and the relationship between a boy and a girl with supernatural powers." You will follow high school lovers Atma and Raya on a journey to contend with a supernatural force in the country of Indonesia during the late 1990s. Chat to townsfolk, dive into their minds, and pet every single cat you come across. This sounds like a really laidback experience despite the threat looming over the town. If you really like the sound of this project, you can even sample a free prologue on PC through this link.
