Pixel art is a bit of a touchy subject for this particular scribe -- it can pretty much make or break the experience. And thankfully, A Space for the Unbound very much falls on the positive side of this internal debate. The stunning indie title from both Toge Productions and Mojiken Studio is coming to PlayStation 4 at some point next year, and while the announcement trailer above gives little away, a Steam page serves up a lot more information.
It reads: "A Space For The Unbound is a slice-of-life adventure game with beautiful pixel art set in the late 90s rural Indonesia that tells a story about overcoming anxiety, depression, and the relationship between a boy and a girl with supernatural powers." You will follow high school lovers Atma and Raya on a journey to contend with a supernatural force in the country of Indonesia during the late 1990s. Chat to townsfolk, dive into their minds, and pet every single cat you come across. This sounds like a really laidback experience despite the threat looming over the town. If you really like the sound of this project, you can even sample a free prologue on PC through this link.

Looks right up my alley. Tagging @Anti-Matter cause I know heβs Indonesian.
@nessisonett I rarely see him here at Push Square, all the time almost on the sister site though. This game does look pretty cool, something for me to look forward to.
I'll try the free prologue, rarely games set in my country π
Well that looks rather lovely, doesn't it? Looks like a very likely purchase for me.
@nessisonett
Oh, wow. π²
An indie game with setting on Indonesia ?
Well....
The pixels art style was not really my thing but i saw something like i used to see when i was Senior High School student.
I will keep my eyes on it as long it still rated E10+ until Teen as the maximum age rating i allow since the trailer said "May have inappropriate contents".
@Anti-Matter @nessisonett Do you think you will play the free prologue? If you do, be sure to give me your verdicts!
