Co-op first-person shooter Warhammer 40K Darktide was announced as a “console launch exclusive” for the Xbox Series X this week, which means one thing: it’ll release on the PlayStation 5 at some point thereafter. Kotaku contacted developer Fatshark to check, and it was told that it’ll discuss “other platforms and their availability at a future date”.
The game itself is inspired by Warhammer’s sci-fi 401st century, and will see you journeying to the depths of a hive city alongside three other players. The press release explains: “Players will not be able to hide behind lethal ranged weapons. They'll need to combine both FPS and melee skills as they get up close and personal in visceral clashes between Imperium and Chaos factions.”

Is it single player or multiplayer only? I'm interested in this if it's single player like titanfall 2.
the low xbox sales will make them port the game quick..

4 man cooperative games.. If you play offline your got 3 bots with your. Who is as strong as you progress. Because they are locked characters like dragon age. So if you have a epic weapon on one of them. They will have it on when you play a another character.
And they lvl depends on how much you played that specific character
@Ridwaano Noo, I though the game at least like destiny where you can go solo or with friends.

Not entirely solo! You got your squad since its hard to solo.
There could be a mode where it's solo.. But it's going to be hard!

Just more RpG Elementer with passiv ultimate ability. Roles Tank/support. Melee/Ranger damage dealer.. Different weapons with different rarity.
Characters talk to each other. And makes call outs,
@Ridwaano I enjoyed left for dead series (bought it when it's discounted on steam) but the game is best played with other people, playing it solo just isn't as good.
