PlayStation 2 JRPG Shin Megami Tensei III: Nocturne is getting a surprise remaster next year, and to demonstrate what it looks like in action, Atlus has given us a lengthy glimpse at the current-gen rerelease with 14 minutes of gameplay. We've embedded footage of this PlayStation 4 remaster above, which details its turn-based combat, exploration, and conversations with characters.

It's all entirely in Japanese, but you'll get a good sense of what to expect if you've never played this cult classic before. Will you be picking up Shin Megami Tensei III: Nocturne HD Remaster despite the PlayStation 5 already being out when it eventually launches? Share your thoughts in the comments below.
