Sony's first-party studios love to congratulate one another upon the launch of their games, sharing custom artwork that portrays protagonists fighting alongside each other. It's always nice to see when a new PlayStation 4 exclusive releases, but Ghost of Tsushima takes things one step further by actually featuring select Sony titles in the game itself. A player has found a table in a late-game area that features origami figures from various PlayStation franchises.
As you can tell from the video above, the game references the likes of Shadow of the Colossus, Days Gone, Horizon Zero Dawn, Ratchet & Clank, Death Stranding, God of War, The Last of Us: Part II, and Gran Turismo. There's also a logo for London Studio, who put out Blood & Truth.
This is a neat little thing, isn't it? Not only are Sony's developers congratulating each other in public, but they're also now starting to hide homages and references in their games. Great stuff. Now, let's find Jin Sakai's katana hidden somewhere in Marvel's Spider-Man: Miles Morales later this year.

They always used to pay homage to their own games - lots of sly references in second son. Still, this is a cool next step
Wow, this is awesome. Great little Easter egg.
Still in chapter 1, it's really hard to continue the story when all I want to do is walking from one place to another while looking at the scenery and taking screenshots
More like some multiplatform games and some exclusives, for accuracy
I enjoy these little Easter Eggs. Finding a Sackboy doll in The Order 1886 comes to mind.
This is really cool.
If only the 'gamers' were as respectful to the developers like the developers are to each other.
That's neat. Always nice to see devs put little easter eggs in their games that reference other games.
"The origami king"
That got a smile out of me. Thank you, @LiamCraft.
@wiiware bruh, I'm doing the same thing haha!
Easily the most beautiful game I've ever played.
Anyone else absolutely hate the archers in this game? I'm trying to pull off some sick samurai moves and I'm getting spammed by arrows. It's frustrating.
Has anybody checked the samurai exhibition in the first spider-man, since?
@oldschool1987 getting the skill to deflect arrows with block is a major help.
The origami itself could also be considered an homage to Heavy Rain. (Though unintentional).
I hate to be that guy (maybe a little) but Death stranding and Horizon Zero Dawn aren't exclusives 😋 if they are then The Witcher 3 and GTA V are exclusives too.
That out of the way I'm loving Ghost so far, is absolutely beautiful. Sucker Punch are in my opinion very underrated and I hope that it sells amazingly and at least breaks records in Japan.
@PS5in2020 Right? I just upgraded my standoff skill and now I'm going around everywhere challenging mongols and bandits alike
@oldschool1987 Yeah they're annoying
You can sprint at them and kill them first, dodging after they call out, or stand behind some scenery to give yourself some breathing space. But the best thing is that upgrade that lets you simply block arrows.
@BearsEatBeets @Matroska
Thank you both
This is nice. I'm really enjoying the game, but I'm having some issues with controller drift. My left stick must have very slight drift issues and GOT has zero deadzone with no option to widen it. Is anyone else experiencing this? I was going to buy a new controller, but saw that there are many others with the same issue. Has it been reported? Is there any talk of a patch to bring in a deadzone slider?
Is a shame because the game is very cinematic, but slightly ruined by Jin janking about when I stop moving. I'm not going to buy a new controller just for one game either, especially with the PS5 around the corner.
