Dragon's Dogma, the brilliant Capcom action RPG, is getting an anime adaptation later this year. The series will launch through Netflix on the 17th September 2020, and the company has given us our very first look at the project with the artwork embedded below.
Given the dark undertones and foreboding nature of the game, we're glad to see that the anime looks equally menacing. Let's hope that it lives up to the source material's quality. A masterwork, if you will.

Which Studio is going to animated this tho if it is like Baki or Kengan Asura I will not watch it and it also gonna depend if the new Anime lineup for September is stacked

@GKO900 Did not like the CGI sh*t they doing wish they would make it like Megalo Box ( which I really like with the old school artstyle ) would rather read the Baki Manga tho it is good

Think it's great that Netflix is making anime adaptations of video games. Could totally imagine metal gear, okami and Yakuza happening.
@GKO900 Baki has a few episodes that really where ugly almost a joke.
I hope it is true to the game that everytime the characters travel somewhere the enemies have insta respawned within minutes.
This killed the game for me played loads of it but eventually it ground me down, i think the final straw was i was on my way somewhere fought through a ton of enemies, realised i'd gone the wrong way and had to fight them all again to get back.
I wonder if the love interest will be some random character who the protagonist talked to once.

@Flaming_Kaiser Nah I think you’re exaggerating, bad animation the early episodes of Dragon Ball Super and the intro of the second season of the original Baki that intro it’s early CGI garbage
@GKO900 I like the series but for its a mixed bag and the CGI.. 🤮

@Grimwood Yes. Someone who only plays 5 minutes of a game wouldn't really be able to form a proper opinion one way or another.
