As predicted, the next DLC character for Samurai Shodown is the Warden from Ubisoft's For Honor. The claymore-wielding warrior looks exactly as you'd expect, with broad swings and destructive blows being the foundation for his fighting style. The Warden even has a catapult-based super move, which is cool.
If you're eager to try this armour-clad knight out, you're in luck. The Warden releases tomorrow -- that's the 24th June. He'll be available as part of Samurai Shodown's second season pass, or he can be bought separately at $5.99.

Guess I’ll try out the new character tomorrow.
An unexpected but still cool guest character. I wonder why For Honor though.
@SoulsBourne128 I wonder why not assassins creed, ubisoft has crossed that one over with final fantasy, soul calibur and I think monster hunter already.
Tho samurai vs crusaders vs vikings is the main thing in for honour.
I always get a little sick when i read seasonpass with a extra number complete edition here i come if its on disc.
@darkswabber I heard from someone on For Honor subreddit that the game isn't really popular in Japan, so I wonder if they're doing this to increase the popularity of the game in Japan. Either that or either the producers of either teams loved both games.
