As promised, Geoff Keighley posted the initial schedule overnight for the Summer Game Fest initiative that will engulf gaming news for the next couple of months. It all starts tomorrow with the Inside Xbox third-party gameplay reveal for the Xbox Series X, but we've got events spanning all the way until late August to look forward to. This is only a brief glimpse at the full line-up of shows, however, it has already given us something new to look forward to next week.
On Tuesday 12th May, Keighley will share a new game announcement with the world. Dubbed "Sunrise #1", this appears to be just the first in a string of reveals that the man himself has gotten the chance to share.
The event comes with the caption: "Join Geoff Keighley for a surprise game reveal". Oh, go on then Geoff! So, what game will it be? To be perfectly honest, we have absolutely no idea. There's a long, long list of rumoured titles which could crop up at any point this summer, so speculating what Monday's announcement might be feels a bit futile.
Still, if it's a PlayStation 4 or PlayStation 5 game, we'll be sure to cover it here at Push Square. In the meantime, have a good look around the Summer Game Fest website and add any events you're interested in to your digital calendar. Monday's reveal will take place at 9am PT / 12pm ET / 5pm BST.
It's looking like no E3 this year could be much more interesting than the E3 of the past couple years
Looking forward to the constant flow of news over the next few months
E3 died for the greater good, sleep well sweet prince.
