Whatever you thought of Man of Medan, Supermassive Games' follow up is looking like a more interesting tale. Called Little Hope, the second instalment in the Dark Pictures Anthology is due for release on PlayStation 4 in summer 2020. Bandai Namco has just published a brand new trailer, which you can see above.
The game is named after the town in which it's set, where four students and their professor are trapped by a mysterious fog. Little Hope's history of witchcraft comes out to haunt them in another Until Dawn-esque cinematic adventure, with multiple paths and endings.
Will you be venturing into Little Hope this summer? Stay out of the dark in the comments below.

Haven't played Man of Medan yet but I loved Until Dawn so I'm happy Supermassive Games are continuing to put out more horror games. Their Dark Anthology kind of reminds me of Tales from the Crypt show that I used to watch back in the day.
This looks a lot more interesting than Man of Medan ever did.
Sweet! Can't wait.
I enjoyed Man of Medan - it just had a few technical issues that broke the immersion a bit. Certain scene transitions felt...janky. Certain conversation segments seemed disconnected. And it didn't seem like there wasn't an ounce of surround sound - which really would have worked well in the ship environment to build tension.
I hope those issues get worked out for the next game.
Oh I really hope this is up to Until Dawns quality..absolutely LOVED that game and Man Of Medan was a big disappointment.
Held off on Man of Medan yet,(given the mixed reviews etc.), but might bite if it goes on a deeper discount...but "The Fog" element here might bring back a bit of that Until Dawn suspense-& ditto that any tech issues have been ironed out a bit too.
I liked Man of Medan well enough but not as much as Until Dawn. Looking forward to the next one and am happy Super massive Games are continuing their brand of interactive narrative horror.
Just hope that either the online element is gone or allows you to play with random people
Nice... Love the co-op option on these. This is another game on the never ending PS4 list.
The summer timing for these games is weird. I'll definitely pick it up around Halloween time, on-sale or not! Man of Medan was great...definitely recommend it to anyone interested in the genre. Short game, but a high quality experience. I spent $24 on it and don't regret it.
@LiamCroft
Man of Medan pacing was awfully poor imo.
I feel like they don't really understand the definition of 'Anthology'. Unless one day they put all the games in one package, but only really then would the series title count.
I hear the word fog, i buy.
Just something about fog in a horror story of any kind whether it be film, a book or a game is so appealing and has an instant sense of dread and the ominous unknown.
You got fog and youre halfway there imo lol.
That trailer shows way too much, it's a curse of modern trailers in general.
I'm interested in playing these games when they're all available in one package. Until then I'll pass despite loving Until Dawn.
The twist in Man of Medan ruined the story for me, very optimistic for Little Hope however.
