PS5 Will Get You Sharing with New Create Button on DualSense Controller

We’d argue that the PlayStation 4’s Share button is the greatest innovation of the current generation, so it’s no surprise to see Sony completely upgrade the feature for the PlayStation 5’s all-new DualSense controller.

“With Create, we’re once again pioneering new ways for players to create epic gameplay content to share with the world, or just to enjoy for themselves,” explained Hideaki Nishino. “We’ll have more details on this feature as we get closer to launch.”

We imagine this will be an amalgamation of many popular Share features established on the PS4. What if, for example, Photo Modes are now part of the console’s operating system – meaning that filters and borders can be added at a system level? And what if video editing app SHAREfactory is bundled in as well? The imagination boggles.

Well I knew the Share button wasn't gone, that subheading was misleading. And not really surprised at the dropping of colours for the four face buttons. I saw it coming with Xbox dropping theirs, It's been a thing in design recently, like Instagram just going black and white. It's a pretty neat concept, the use of 2 colours on everything, you'd understand if you're into graphic design.
To me it's sleek, but the question is - will the sticks ever be durable...

Looks awesome, I like new detailing. The PS button is no longer round, but what I like most is the two tone. I HOPE the PS5 follows this as well.

controller looks great but I don't see why they had to rename it. they should've stuck with 'share'

Also explain that photomode theory in more detail if you can.

@carlos82 I dunno I liked 360's white controllers y'know. White is great for a change.

@TheArt I've got the white dualshock 4 and it's really nice and I like my Dreamcast pads too, I think if this was all white maybe with some black detailing I'd like the look of it more. The console should look cool

Does it go straight to 'DREAMS'(or 'LBP') when you press the Create button + I wonder if you can change the white part for other Colours? Like the DS4 Pad? If not that would be a missed opportunity really. Doesn't look like you can. Oh well.

I own 3 dualshock4 controllers.
1. Yes, on one of them i've pushed Share button maybe 3 times (when i was searching how to switch off automatic recording my gameplay, or just disable constant notifications about recording), but other two controllers are "share button virgins"
2. I hope that |/ button can be disabled on dualsense controller.
3. I really hope that sharefactory, playroom and other apps will be DELETABLE!!! or better not preinstalled in system just to waste space in my console.
4.... I'd rather keep Dualshock 4 in my hands...
