Long before chill indie platformers were dime a dozen, PixelJunk Eden was very much the first of its kind. A soothing, visual feast for PlayStation 3, the Q-Games developed exclusive even enabled you to export gameplay footage to YouTube – prior to anyone sticking a Share button on the DualShock 4.
And now, out of the blue, it’s getting a sequel – on Nintendo Switch. Announced as part of the organisation’s indie showcase earlier today, the title sees you assume the role of a “little floppy horned creature called a Grimp” and sends you on a “quest to save your fellow Grimps and liberate their worlds”.
The press release continues: “Wallow in a feeling of synaesthesia as the exquisite music from Baiyon envelops your mind and soul and you, your Grimp, and the delightful aesthetics of PixelJunk Eden become one.” Nintendo’s describing this as a “timed exclusive” so expect it to release elsewhere eventually.

I miss those early days of PlayStation Store a bit. There weren't many games, but I used to get so excited to download the latest PixelJunk, etc.
Yeah I remember those days, when not evrey game had trophies. I felt bad for Q games when The Tomorrow Children didnt do well, I liked that game. I guess they were alittle hurt by it. Hope they come back to Playstation eventually though.
@KratosMD it was fun with Friends and Definitely nice to look at. With the whole Self Quarantine thing happening around the world the Community gameply if it would have been on point if the game was still live right now.
