Well, there you have it. The PlayStation Player Celebration scheme which kicked off on 24th February has come to its conclusion in under two weeks as participants just completed the final goal. The reward is a rather stunning PlayStation 4 dynamic theme which cycles between some of the console's best exclusive games, including Horizon: Zero Dawn, Uncharted 4: A Thief's End, and The Last of Us: Part II. You can see it for yourself below.
To unlock the theme, players had to start 675,000 PS4 games and unlock 2.7 million Trophies. This feels like a very worthy reward, doesn't it? Let's hope Sony puts together more of these sorts of promotions and schemes in the future because we've certainly enjoyed following along with everyone's progress.
The PS4 dynamic theme will be sent out via system notifications next week, with the rewards for earlier goals landing in inboxes across the world last night. Will you be sporting this new theme on your own dashboard when it arrives? Let us know in the comments below.

I hope Sony has more events like this in the future.
I got the first 2 rewards this morning. Looking forward to the dynamic theme next week though 👍
This is so cool
I have the first award, the static theme, but not the avatars. I'm looking forward to the dynamic, it looks great.
The event may have been announced February 18th, but it didn’t kick off until the 24th, which makes this even more impressive. Of the 675,000 games, they had to be played for a minimum of 1 hour in order to count. Add in the fact that it only counted people who registered and well...
Well done PlayStation Nation!
Looks great, I'll have this as my ps4 theme after I'm bored with my old theme (ps wrap-up 2019, which has good music)
I have the first theme and really like it, especially the slight blue tint to the text on system icons. This one looks great too, haven't got the avatars yet but I feel like the one that came with the first theme looks better.
Man, I love PlayStation and I love their games. I was thinking about going back to Xbox with all the hype surrounding the XSX but I'd be a fool to miss out on the great games that PlayStation are known to deliver.
Managed to pick up my 76th Platinum yesterday so I like to think I contributed to this event, well done gamers! It just shows that console gaming is still very strong.
How do u guys redeem the rewards ? I haven't gotten anything yet =/
@PSfanboy1992 They come through automatically as part of your system notifications. I got the first goal's theme last night.
@PSfanboy1992
They come through as system notifications on your primary PS4 console. Press X and it'll take you to the redemption page in the store.
Nice! Finally can replace my GOW theme! Haha
*grumble grumble grumble *
Free stuff sucks!

Some people...
Sweet.
Definitely downloading that dynamic theme next week.
I've contributed, got quite a few trophies through BioShock. Good game, a bit of it's time of course but still worth playing. Can certainly see what it's considered a classic.
Looks nice but under-whelmed, i don't use any theme what doesn't change the music so i shell give this a miss. Right now my theme is the Holiday Sekiro theme and i don't think that's changing until Nioh 2 is out.
Think I'm going to stick with the GoT and TLOU 2 themes I'm using on my consoles at the moment. I still haven't got round to seeing the Ellie one at night yet, I've only used my Pro in the morning.
Are the rewards not available in America? I signed up for the program, but haven't received any notifications for rewards.
The theme is nice but I very rarely change from my Bloodborne platinum theme.
@J-smash No they're not, it's punishment for inflicting Trump on the world.
😉
No idea, doesn't sound fair. Maybe send them an email just to make sure.
No thanks, don't need constipated Ellie face in the background. Really liked the stylish theme and avatars they released for the 2019 roundup. Prefer backgrounds that aren't related to any IP.
