Call of Duty: Warzone keeps on going from strength to strength. In the 10 days since its launch, Infinity Ward has added official solo support to the Battle Royale and now it has recorded more than 30 million users playing during that short stretch of time. The Battle Royale shooter is proving to be more popular then EA's Apex Legends when the stats are compared, with Call of Duty: Warzone projected to beat the 50 million players Respawn Entertainment recorded a month after launch inside three weeks.
Of course, things can change between now and then, but the free expansion to Call of Duty: Modern Warfare is indeed on course to top that number. It took Apex Legends a full month to reach 50 million players, getting halfway there in just a week last year.
None of these figures really matter to its playerbase, but we're sure the official Call of Duty Twitter account wouldn't mind the two-minute Photoshop job it takes to put these tweets together. We can't help but wonder how much of an impact Coronavirus is having on these statistics, however. There are more people at home looking for a video game to play than ever right now.
Are you one of those 30 million players on Call of Duty: Warzone? Let us know how much you're enjoying it in the comments below.

I definitely get why, I’ve totally got into it and I’m having a great time playing with my brother and uncle through cross play.
The numbers shouldn't really be surprising, Apex Legends was a new IP and Call of Duty is Call of Duty. If Blackout had been free to play it would have beaten that too I reckon.
That said, I tried Warzone but much prefer Apex.
I will stick to Apex. I really like that game.
And with BR games you don't really need to get a new one every couple of months, they are all pretty much the same game. Just pick one (Fortnite, Apex, PUBG, Blackout, Warzone, etc) master it and that's it, enjoy.
