After kicking off its Dark Pictures Anthology with Man of Medan, Until Dawn developer Supermassive Games has stuck to its promise of delivering sequels in a timely fashion. The Dark Pictures Anthology: Little Hope arrives on PlayStation 4 this summer, with the announcement accompanied by a new trailer and set of screenshots.
The synopsis for Little Hope is as follows: "Trapped and isolated in the abandoned town of Little Hope, four college students and their professor must escape the nightmarish visions that relentlessly pursue them through an impenetrable fog. As they journey through the town looking for a means of escape, they must understand the meaning of these events, the root of the evil, and how it is directly connected to them."

Supermassive Games CEO Pete Samuels said that the team was delighted by the response to Man of Medan and the success it revelled in. "We really appreciate feedback from the community and the team remains committed to the goal of making each new instalment deliver further thrilling horror experiences, with the next chapter, Little Hope, bringing an all new and disturbing horror story to the anthology."
The Shared Story and Movie Night modes from Man of Medan will return in Little Hope. Are you excited to check out the sequel this summer? Send a chill down our spines in the comments below.

I was not impressed by the first game but it was because of how quickly I figured out the plot. If this one sticks to supernatural I'll bite.
I remember being a bit disappointed about the stern review of Medan here, still decided to play it, and then thought the review was actually quite mild! Unless this will be significantly better, I'll skip it.
Glad the second one is coming out.
Though, what a crappy trailer to tease it, if people didn't play Man of Medan you get a lot of crap showing in there.
I dont remember man of medan getting such praise, i remember hearing about it having various problems, so much so i never got it. So whats the deal? Was the pushsquare reviewer just not into horror in general? Did they not like until dawn?
Man of Medan was one of the biggest let downs ever, I have little hope for this one.
What was with that trailer and the peoples reactions, so fake.
Yeah I wasn't impressed by Man Of Medan either.I didant even bother going back to see if my choices made a difference.
Still, saying that I'll probably be the first to pick their next game up..
@CmShepard i agree, i hate watching people on youtube playing horror games. I have never played a horror game and actually screamed. Maybe jump a little at some jump scares. They either very fake or huge pansies. Im thinking fake.
Looks like Will Poulter is involved as an actor so I am in!
Hopefully this one isn't only 3hrs long like Man of Medan was. Great game it was but far too short. Graphics were on point too
@Wazeddie22 you can't save any of them for the whole game and at the end, the flooding is set in stone. Bit like Until Dawn. So you can't play a story with them survived it doesn't work like that and you can't save the 2 army soldiers at the start of the game - their fate is written
Unless their is a huge improvment over the first game i will be skipping this. Writing etc was just so poor.
The trailer is awful mind that's down to the morons over reacting dear god please don't breed! No one with half a brain behaves like that, so.fake.
@resigamer28 Why do you mean you can't save them? I saved all 5 of them, it was so easy, the plot was so predicable.
Also you can save them all in Until dawn as well, a game that I could still play till this day unlike mad of medan.
@ellsworth004 It feels like they they have catered these new games to the streamers, hoping that in turn will get more sales but in turn the writing and story has gone downhill.
a game made for streaming is best avoided. streamers are not gamers, these people would not have touched a game if they could not earn money. that says it all really.
