We love a good arcade racer here at Push Square, and this one is looking particularly fun. Formerly known as Racing Apex, the newly announced Hotshot Racing is coming to PlayStation 4 in Spring 2020.

As you can see in the above trailer, it's a fast-paced racing game inspired by the arcade greats of yesteryear. The low-poly visuals and vivid colours definitely remind us of Horizon Chase Turbo, but this appears to be a little more involved. We love the crazy drifting and lighthearted tone shown here.

The game is set to feature four-player split screen multiplayer or eight-player online races, as well as single player modes and plenty of characters and cars to play with. Co-developed by Sumo Digital and Lucky Mountain Games, this one could be pretty great.
