We knew it was coming, and here it is -- a Western release date for Sakura Wars (also known as Project Sakura Wars in Japan). For those out of the loop, this is a waifu-wooing visual novel hack and slasher. One minute you're piloting giant mechs in a bid to defend everything you hold dear. The next, you're running about town chatting up a range of single ladies and other colourful characters with the help of a full dialogue system. That's just how protagonist Seijuro Kamiyama rolls.
Anyway, it's arriving on Western shores in just a couple of months, on the 28th April. Are you looking forward to Sakura Wars? Cut open a path in the comments section below.

Sure, I've heard good things about the series on sega saturn back then but I don't think there's english version on saturn, I'll try it on ps4
There's no part of that description I didn't like.
@wiiware I’ve been waiting on the English fan translation for years but it’s not quite there yet. It’s brilliant we’re getting a game over here, I think it’s only a Wii title that’s been officially translated.
I'm liking this new version of Geki! Teikoku Kagekidan but having played the demo I feel like its gonna be a 7/10 game at best.
I'm going to wait for reviews and see how it fairs.
@nessisonett The nice things about playstation is usually nearly all good japanese games is translated, unlike saturn back then, if there's good rpg on ps it likely will be translated for english speaking country
This looks pretty good. I’m a fan of the split between the social structure and battle structure I understand the series story/characters has a good reputation so I might have to pick it up.
I don’t have much on pre-order now either.
Christ, April is going to busy for me.
Well, whatever. It looks fun. Really nice box art, too.
I'll get it at some point. I've had an eye on the series since the first one in the 90s but I've only played the Wii one. I remember that one being good.
