Netflix’s massively successful adaptation of The Witcher propelled CD Projekt RED’s epic role-playing game up the PlayStation Store sales charts for December 2019, where it finished 7th and 11th in North America and Europe respectively. Call of Duty: Modern Warfare ruled supreme in the US, while the Old World plumped up for familiar favourite Grand Theft Auto V.
Holiday promotions definitely had an impact on the positioning of some titles, as Tekken 7 secured 4th place in Europe, above even Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order. Meanwhile, survival game The Forest made a shock reappearance in both regions, perhaps on the back of its sequel’s announcement during The Game Awards.
Unsurprisingly, Beat Saber continues to rule the roost in the PSVR charts, while Fortnite dominates both the free-to-play and DLC lists. You can find all of the appropriate date on the PlayStation Blog for North America and Europe through the relevant links. Did you grab anything in particular from the PS Store last month? I wish people would stop buying GTA 5 so rockstar will release GTA 6 because let's be honest with 5 selling this well they ain't gonna be in a hurry to get 6 out
@QualityGeezer really is astonishing that it STILL sells so much. You'd think everyone who wanted to play would've bought it by now, it's been $20 and under for years!
@redd214 I know mate cant imagine who DOESN'T own it at this point
@QualityGeezer I sontnnut i will never get it anyway. 😉
@QualityGeezer
I don't, but don't worry. I don't intend to buy it. RDR2 is taking far too much of my time now 😉
I finished GTAV when it first released in 1987 so instead I bought some more modern games in Resident Evil 0, 5 and 6 to complete my collection on PS4 😆. So the next couple of months is going to involve a lot of culling of the zombie populations around the world
Toss a coin to your witcher
@ApostateMage lol
Am I the only one who tried to wear the Kaer Mohren Armor as long as it would sufficiently protect just because it looks so awesome?
@ApostateMage 🎶O valley of plenty🎶
@AhmadSumadi there is a grandmaster set in the Blood and Wine expansion which looks identical and is very high level. You can change the colours on it too.
