Sony went through a brief phase of remastering a bunch of PSP games, including Patapon 2 Remastered. Unlike LocoRoco Remastered and the rest, this particular game has been missing in action for what feels like an eternity, with no word from the publisher as to its whereabouts. Well, out of absolutely nowhere, Sony has at last confirmed a date for the PlayStation 4 remaster of Patapon 2.

The good news is that you'll be able to drum your way to victory by the end of the week. Yes, Patapon 2 Remastered releases on Thursday 30th January, 2020. One major criticism of the first game's remaster was a lack of calibration options, meaning the audio could go out of sync with the visuals. For a rhythm game, that's not great. Unfortunately, there's no mention of these options being added to Patapon 2 in the PlayStation Blog post, but there's hope yet.
