When Modus Games isn't publishing Remothered: Broken Porcelain, it's dipping its toes in the more artistic side of the video game industry. The publisher's next title, from developer Sketchbook Games, attempts to bring the diary entries of a young girl to life in a gorgeous 2D fashion. As you can tell from the trailer above, Lost Words has won a fair amount of awards in the process of achieving that too.

The game's official website describes the experience as a 2D platformer "set inside a young girl’s diary by walking on the words and using them as tools to solve different puzzles." The narrative which accompanies those jumps and leaps is said to be emotionally moving while the stunning visual art style brings the world of Estoria to life before your very eyes. It sounds like a genuinely cool take on platforming, utilising the mechanics of diary entries to create a title we wouldn't mind playing when it comes to PlayStation 4 in Spring 2020.

We like the look of this one, but what do you think? Sketch in the comments below.
