As promised, Cygames has wheeled out a brand new look at Granblue Fantasy: Relink. The action role-playing title, which was previously being developed by Platinum Games, continues to impress in two great videos. The one that we've embedded above is a cinematic trailer which introduces the Dragon Knights, while the footage below shows off more than ten minutes of four-player co-op gameplay.
It's a little unclear how co-op ties into the overall experience. Last we saw, Relink was a full action RPG with a story, exploration, and fantastic looking combat. We assume that's all still there, but multiplayer quests should give the release a lot of replay value on the side.
Fortunately, the gameplay itself still looks really, really good. The co-op stuff almost reminds us of Monster Hunter, only way faster and much more anime.
Meanwhile, if you're looking for single-player footage, it seems Cygames has republished the below gameplay demo. As far as we can tell, we've seen this one before, but it's still well worth another watch.
The bottom line, then, is that Granblue Fantasy: Relink continues to look fantastic. It's just a shame that we still don't have a release window.

Looks good, a bit different though from the very first trailer that looks like uncharted 4 graphics wise, it's more like rpg game rather than action games. 4 player coop is cool
There's co-op in this game?! Cool, I didn't know that.
@wiiware sure you're not thinking about Project Awakening?

Looks pretty enough but a bit generic.
Hopefully the combat’s got a whole lot of depth. If all goes well, it might be yet another brilliant ARPG to add to my collection.
@Mintie No, although project awakening do looks great, I can't wait for both
I thinking of this trailer: https://youtu.be/-2s16sJAtRg
Late Playstation releases always end up as gems. PS4 is about 6 years old now and still going strong with releases.
NICE!... this is the one I am waiting for! Do not play fighting games, so Versus not for me (does look incredible also)
PS4 going strong (crazy the bang for the buck I got on this thing). But chances are it will be traded in for a PS5 by the time this comes out.
Hopefully backward compatibility is easy and stable.
@Agramonte
You better still keep your PS4 I'm sure the BC is not 100% stable for all games
So many bros. I hope there will be more diversity.
Haven't played a jRPG on PS4 in a while now, Switched to Nintendo for all the jRPG goodness but have been eating up everything I saw or heard about this game. It looks stupid good. Let's hope the combat is as deep as it is flashy and that there's a good story.
this is the only game I'm looking forward to.
Can anyone explain how the multiplayer feature works in the game. Is it possible for instance to play the entire game with a friend, or friends?
It looks so pretty but a bit generic. It will all come down to the gameplay for me
omg !!! this looks so so good - lookin forward to this and the fighting game too ^^
