Original Story: Oh dear, it would appear the Western release date for Persona 5 Royal has leaked ahead of its official announcement, which is supposedly happening later today. As previously rumoured, the expanded role-playing title will launch in March 2020.

The leak arrives via Amazon Canada, which has a product page -- complete with release date -- ready to go. Someone's pulled the trigger early, then.

And no, the 31st March 2020 isn't a placeholder -- the date's also slapped onto the official promo image for the game's 'Phantom Thieves Edition', which you can view below.

Persona 5 Royal joins Final Fantasy VII Remake and Nioh 2 -- just to name a couple of other high profile titles -- in March 2020. That month is looking absolutely mental for PlayStation 4 owners.
