Bluepoint is working on a high-profile PlayStation 5 project which is widely believed to be a remake of Demon’s Souls, but it’s not giving anything away with the cryptic messages it’s been sharing on social media. The Texas-based developer has been having a bit of fun lately, penning poems which appear to allude to a vast range of different projects.
This latest definitely falls into the From Software category, with references to “beasts” and “flames”, but there are still people who believe this could be related to The Legend of Dragoon. Ultimately, we’re not going to find out until Sony’s ready to reveal it’s next-gen console, and while we do find the Tweets amusing – well, the gag’s going to wear thin eventually.

I enjoy the cryptic messages. It's a fun way to keep the fans engaged. The cryptic nature of their poems make me think it's a fromsoft remake. It would stay true to their games.

i would rather have legends of dragoon but i fear the internet would be up in arms about about no demon souls remake.
@Rob_230 Considering how Bluepoint mentioned their project in one of the Wired articles about PS5, I would guess the title is more connected to the "actual" reveal of the new console. So probably early next year.

I can see this backfiring because there will be people pissed off that it isn't the game they hoped for.
For me personally, stuff demons souls, we have enough of those games already.

I would rather have a Legend of Dragoon remake than a demon souls, sorry but we are talking about a possibility of bringing back a PS1 classic over a PS3 game both are brilliant in there own right but again LOD for me please

I'm expecting this to be revealed at the same time the PS5 is properly unveiled early next year. I had a blast with Legend of Dragoon back in the day, but this still veers more towards Demon's Souls for me.
@JayDub I disagree. We have 5 souls games made by FROM and a few, mostly mediocre takes on the genre by other developers.
I’d take note of the same in an instant.

@Arnna Imagine a DeS remake with the 6th archstone accessible so you can visit that Land of the Giants From didn't have the opportunity to finish! That's my realistic hope for this.
I just want a Syphon Filter remake. I didnt get to play those on PS2.

I really hope it's Legend of Dragoon. I feel like I see Souls or Souls-inspired stuff everywhere I turn, but an ambitious remake of a PS1 JRPG classic would be a great way to get fans of RPGs and Japanese games on-board with the system early on.
It's considered blasphemy to speak or show any images of Legend of Dragoon within the same breath of remakes or remasters, fans have been tortured enough that they become savage feral monsters at the thought of a Legend of Dragoon remake and will not stand to be teased any longer.
