In case you'd forgotten, Bandai Namco announced a playable demo for its upcoming action RPG, Code Vein, back at Gamescom. The demo will allow players to "create their own character, explore the start of the game, and dive into the first part of 'The Depths', a challenging dungeon that will test any Revenant’s mettle". It sounds like a pretty substantial demo, doesn't it?
Anyway, it's available to download right now. If you're curious about the game, you've now got a great way to see if it's for you before its release on 27th September. Will you be checking out the Code Vein demo on PlayStation 4? If you have you already, what do you think? Let us know in the comments below.

Can't wait to give it a proper look through later!
Free demo? When were we ever charged for a demo?
What year is this?
@naruball Sometimes betas are locked behind pre-order initiatives which require immediate payment. That's a kind of demo.
Can't wait to try this out later on. This game's on my wish list.
I tried it and wasn't impressed, it's just a dark souls clone, nothing unique about it really, I expected a rpg not dark souls.
.. tried it last night.. you know what... my first impression was "God Eater vs The Surge" - but once you complete the demo and get to go into that first dungeon... it becomes a LOT more enjoyable (and you can really practice against monsters to see what the combat's all about)... loving the loadouts and different styles.. sure it's got a LOT of similarities to the DS franchise, but it brings a lot to the table too... and combat feels good (if lacking a little impact)... ahh and the good old backstab is still there... classic...
