Plants vs. Zombies: Battle for Neighborville is finally official after plenty of leaks. You can watch the first gameplay trailer above, which outlines some of the new features and characters you'll be playing as in this crazy third person shooter. There will be social hubs, team play classes, 24-player matches, and open world locations to explore. It sounds like a pretty decent follow up to Garden Warfare 2.

The game will be released on PlayStation 4 on 18th October 2019. However, if you purchase the Founders Edition from PlayStation Store, you'll be able to start playing weeks ahead of time. In fact, become what EA is calling a Founding Neighbor, and you'll be able to play from today as PopCap adds more to the game over the six weeks between now and the launch date. It's a chance for fans of the series to play the game early and provide some feedback as content is slowly added to the package. Another benefit is the reduced price; the Founders Edition is £24.99 / $29.99.
