Sony kicked off today's State of Play with a fresh game announcement. Humanity is the latest project from developers THA and Enhance Games, the studio that brought us the exquisite Tetris Effect. The above trailer doesn't give us an awful lot to go on, and to make matters worse, the press release is arguably less informative.
However, the PlayStation Blog post should give you a flavour for what the developers are going for. It seems you'll be in control of these masses of people, overcoming all manner of obstacles and fighting off reams of bad guys. We're as clueless as you are on this one, but we love the style of it. There's a PlayStation VR mode, too, which should prove to be even more bizarre.
What do you make of Humanity? Are you intrigued by this beguiling new game? Form a crowd in the comments below.

The Daily London Commute: Game Edition
@knuckles-Fajita Pretty sure that's Mini Metro.
Reminds me a bit of Darwinia, a game I wish wasn't lost and forgotten.
Reminds me of lemmings games.
I love the look of this, even though I have no clue what it is.
Looks like a they were making an old school tech demo to show physics and particle count engine and somebody said "hey, this could be a game".
This looks like a strangely deep experience, especially in VR. I feel like it’s gonna be kinda “spiritual” like Tetris Effect.
@Dobbos Snap for me. With a touch of chu chu rocket. Decent!
@Jaz007 Jaz get you vote in bro!
Not really all that similar, but one of my favorite games back in the day was populous. I loved that game alot.
But, wow, was it hard.
Looks unique, look forward to hearing more about it.
