We watched the first episode of The Borderlands Show so that you didn't have to. That was bad, real bad. Tucked away at the end of the Greg Miller-fronted stream were the first details on Borderlands 3's inaugural free in-game event - it's called Bloody Harvest and it's coming to PlayStation 4 next month.
The Halloween-themed event brings with it a new mission, another boss fight, and an all-new map to explore. It'll only be around for just over a month, but should you invest the time and effort you'll be rewarded with two new weapons and a handful of new cosmetic items.
There's a weapon trinket, a new skin for all four Vault Hunters, a grenade mod, and even more to collect. Alongside that, talk of a Terror debuff which "shrouds your vision in a mysterious mist and weakens your gun handling, accuracy, and spread" is included, but this can be turned into an advantage with class mods.
Will you be checking out the time-limited event? Get spooky in the comments below.

Hoping they're able to improve the performance of the game before the event hits. I'm holding off in hopes that we'll atleast get a stable 30 fps option.
"We watched the first episode of The Borderlands Show so that you didn't have to. That was bad, real bad. " Ok this made me giggle.
Seems that KF's content is getting worse and worse.
Free events are always cool
How about adding verticle splitscreen like everyone is asking for before adding events Gearbox. Just a thought.
I'm really enjoying BL3. The gunplay feels much improved from the older games.
