Keita Takahashi's latest creation, Wattam, has been long in the making. It was announced way back in 2015, and we've been waiting to acquaint ourselves with the bizarre looking adventure ever since. Very little about the game has been shown over the years, but all the trailers point to something just as disarmingly, wonderfully strange as Katamari Damacy and Noby Noby Boy.
It's good news, then, to see that publisher Annapurna Interactive might have something to share about the game very soon.
Okay, so the word Wattam doesn't appear anywhere in this tweet, but you see, it's all in the emojis. A hat? You play as the mayor, and the mayor wears a hat. A bomb? The mayor keeps bombs tucked away in his headwear. A green heart? The mayor is green, and as far as we know, this is a game all about friendship. If you ask us, we're getting a Wattam-related announcement soon. In fact, we'd be willing to bet it'll show up during tomorrow's State of Play.
Have you been waiting patiently for Wattam on PlayStation 4? Hold hands in the comments below.

I actually forgot this existed.
Mmm, so nice. Lately I've been a lil' more down. A game like this would cheer me right up, just like Tearaway, Noby Noby Boy and Doki Doki Universe have done in these last few years.
More nice things, please!
Gosh. Deep Down will get announced at this rate
It says December 2019 as the release date on the EGS. So Wattam is my December game if true.
