2K Sports may not have much competition in the basketball simulation arena, but you could never accuse the developer of taking its foot off the gas – even if it does continue to find increasingly nefarious ways to monetise its games. Hot on the heels of NBA 2K20’s campaign announcement, the developer has lifted the lid on its all-new MyPlayer builder, and it’s impressive to say the least.
With more customisable options than ever before, you can build a prospective all-star from up to almost 100 unique archetypes. According to the trailer embedded above, progression has also been sped up, so hopefully this won’t be a grind-fest like NBA 2K19 was before it. Check out the trailer above for a deeper look at the solo experience, which is shaping up to be the best in the series thus far.

I do love making my player look as terrifying as possible, usually called something stupid like Gareth Banana.
Never been much for in-depth character creating apart from one of the N64 WWF games.
The designed by committee during school lunch times 'Bad Boy Pimp Ass' and 'Kevin Damage' were both pretty awesome though.
Made a guy... super trash. Lol. The build in my head is hard to replicate without accepting some give and take.
