The latest game from Zero Escape series creator Kotaro Uchikoshi, AI: The Somnium Files, appears to be flying under a lot of people's radars. It's out on PlayStation 4 on 17th September in the US and three days later in the EU, and this latest trailer dives into the game's investigation mechanics. Check it out above.
It's a stylish slice of footage that introduces a number of different characters, all of which have their own objectives and motives. We get a glimpse of how searching crime scenes will be done, interviewing potential witnesses and suspects, and dialogue choices that'll weed out answers and revelations.
It's all looking like a major step up from the PS Vita's Zero Time Dilemma, with a sync system that allows you to dive into people's dreams and make out further clues. Are you interested in picking this up despite the mad September rush of releases? Put your pre-order down in the comments below.

I'm going skip this trailer. The game is rather mysterious, and I'd enjoy it more if I don't know too much about it before playing.
It would have to be better than ZTD.
Anyway, I'm excited to discover more about this. Although I'll be playing it in Japanese, if possible. Hate the English voice work.
Never heard of this one and it actually looks pretty good!
As if there aren't enough games I want..
yeah already pre-ordered my copy!! looking forward to it. Really wish Kodaka (Danganronpa series creator) would start showing some more gameplay and details about his current project. But this one will hold me off till then!!
