A brand new trailer for the promising ANNO: Mutationem made its debut during Sony's ChinaJoy 2019 showcase. It continues to look pretty good; we really like its old school aesthetic combined with the gritty futuristic setting. Check out the new video above.
We're no closer to a release date, and other details remain fairly slim. We know that it looks to feature a mix of gameplay styles, from fast-paced combat to simple exploration, and that it has a Metroidvania type structure. Hopefully it won't be too much longer before we get to play it for ourselves.

Has it got a futuristic city? Has it got tons of neon.? Does it have a retro vibe? Then I'm interested.
Conflicted. It looks great but those cringey "run around in a small black cocktail dress! parts are really disappointing.

The pixel art doesn't seem consistent across the game. I find it a bit weird but it still looks cool
