We're starting to get a little bit excited about Call of Duty: Modern Warfare, so much so that we're eagerly anticipating this weekend's alpha test that will give everyone access to the new mode called Gunfight.

Five maps will be on offer throughout the weekend, allowing you to take in the scenes as you team up with a buddy for 2v2 action. It'll only be around for a couple of days, but a full beta will be available next month for those that pre-order. The best thing about this alpha test is that anyone with an internet connection and the ability to download it can play - an active PlayStation Plus subscription is not required to gain access.
