We're still rather enjoying Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled here at Push Square Towers, but it's no secret that there are a few bugs here and there. We've ran into several that, although not game breaking, leave the Activision remake feeling rough around the edges. Fortunately, a new patch has just arrived on PlayStation 4, taking the game to version 1.06.
The downside is that we aren't quite sure what's been fixed and what hasn't. Below, we've embedded the patch notes in full:
Bug fixes.
Cheers, Beenox.
Hopefully it tends to the online side of the game, where some of the bugs are the most apparent. Until the developer reveals more info, we don't know precisely what's been sorted. We are seeing reports that unintended skips in certain tracks have been addressed. Hopefully we learn more soon.

I had a few odd things happen since I have played it. Like once the Grand Prix bit said it was all over but there are a few weeks left for some of it. When I quit the game and came back it was back tho + didn't get any gold coins added to my total to once. Anyway still a FUN game and it just takes me back to my LOVELY PS1 days and playing the Crash games
I know the update fixed the "illegal" shortcut on, I think the Thunder Struck course, that allowed a person to complete a lap under 10 seconds.
I still hear the global save corruption is still a problem though, so I'm hoping Beenox fixes that.
Have they made the game less difficult? It's stupid tuff on Medium and a total cake walk on easy. I need something in the middle.
Have they fixed the offline grind for coins that’s forces you to play online if you want a realistic chance to unlock everything?? Such a buzz kill. Love the game hate the grind. 40/60 coins for winning a race and a Kart can be 4500 and a skin 2500 - 100 races to unlock one Kart is a grind in anyone’s books
Did they fix the bug customisation bug in adventure mode?
Update; erm no, seems they haven’t 🙄
