PS4 Exclusive Wins E3 2019 Game of the Show, Despite Sony's Absence

I knew that Sony won E3 2019 and without even showing to E3 what other company has ever achieved that before

Well, I’m not a fan of the whole “winning E3” thing, but Sony managed to pull off an unprecedented feat in both gaming and trolling, and that is highly commendable. Crazy props to them!

I feel stupid that I didn’t realize FFVII Remake was a PS4 exclusive. I guess I assumed since FFXV was on Xbox that this would be also.

Least Value for your money: Final Fantasy Remake....but you guys will lap it up....pay way too much for a game you’ve played already..

Of course it won, it's Final Fantasy VII, the game that swept awards back in 1997. Still need to play it to believe the hype though. I wasn't overly impressed with the original release although to be fair a lot had to do with the fact I had moved on from turn based RPGs by that point. The remake looks like a lot of fun though.

FF7 Remake will be well worth every penny as will as the time spent playing it.

For me FF7 is one of my all time favourite games and worlds to experience. I have all the FF7 based games, the movie and a few of the action figures and memorabilia. I replay the original and have paid money to have that on multiple formats, so having this enhanced version is well worth the money for me. And is much more important to me than many of the original new titles.

We all have our different loves in gaming. Some would say it is a waste of money to buy a new FIFA or CoD each year when most games would just have an expansion or free update on the roster, but for the people who love those games it’s always worth the money. Same for this Remake for me.

Good to see my 2 boys up there in FFVII and Doom Eternal, also would love Panzer Dragoon to come to PS4 but I'll be happy with it on Switch.

@Kienda don't bother with him, it's a troll account and I get your sentiments with the sports games but they are virtually identical, where as is this is as we know completely new.

I feel that Sony took a side step because of FF7 Remake due to the lack of info since it's announcement, I wonder if SE told Sony what they had to present and partial they said we ain't going this year because we won't beat that and we have no need to

@Germs73 That's the thing Nintendo fanboys are doing for years now: Paying full price for old Wii U games. The thing is: At least, FF7 is a full fledged Remaster. The old Wii U games are nothing but warmed up ports from an old generation. :/

Best Online Mutiplayer: Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare. Uhh was this even shown? I thought only the campaign was shown off behind closed doors....but I could be wrong...
I mean, surely they wouldn't just give the award to a game they know for certain has multiplayer without actually seeing it in action.....but then again lol

It's better spend e3 money to make a discount event like days of play sale rather than spend it on e3 shows.

@Lando_I remember when they used to attack ps fans for buying ps3 remasters on ps4, calling ps4 "portstation" only to buy wiiu games at full price as soon as they came out on the switch.
